Now that the weather has warmed up I am getting anxious to get out in the garden. However, with the ongoing water restrictions I will limit my planting to containers this year. I plan to scout out local nurseries for something unusual and fun to feed my plant habit. I mean, to plant in my containers. Please share the name of your favorite local nursery. One of my favorites is Still Lake Nursery in Lawrenceville. I always find something fun to satisfy that gardening urge! Where do you go to feed your plant habit?

I really like Northside Garden Center on Peachtree Industrial just south of Hwy. 20. They usually have really healthy plants and the staff is knowledgeable as well as friendly.

Being a Gwinnetian, I like to support our local nurserys. I especially like Randy's in Lawrenceville. One could probably wonder and search for days in that place. An educated gardener will always find a treasure.

Hi All,

I was just noticing this new topic of Nancy's and was coming on board to nominate Randy's in Lawrenceville, but I see Glenn is one step ahead of me.

I've been a customer of Randy's for about 15 years, and have felt fortunate to have this nursery nearby. The only drawback to it is that he usually does not carry anything above the herbal and perennial level (in height). I did see a few Red Buckeyes around last year, though, come to think of it.
